Do you know the feeling you get when starting a new project and you feel inadequate and insecure? That is exactly how the protagonist of this short feels.
At the start of his directing career, he wonders whether he can do a good job, and feels as if he was followed by a mysterious critic who doubts his talent and makes his deepest fears grow worse. His greatest wish is to be worshipped as a director, while his alter ego inspires such insecurity that he even experiences the worst kind of feeling in his imaginative scenarios: shame.
This beautifully shot black and white short depicts a story everybody can relate to. Hopefully the young aspiring artist will succeed in becoming as great as his idol, Fellini.
